International MicroNanoConference

REGISTER NOW AS A VISITOR of the International MicroNanoConference and subscribe also for the Bubbles, Droplets and Particles Show.

The Bubbles, Droplets and Particles Show

The Bubbles, droplets and particles training course focuses on the subjects of MicroNano bubbles, droplets and particles technologies, production equipment, micro dispensing systems and flowcytometry. This workshop will attract visitors from both the enabling areas as the application areas, such as coatings, pharma, oil and gas etcetera.

The following companies will all participate in the hands-on training course:

Distrilabdistrilab

Distrilab is a distributor of laboratory equipment and analytical chemicals. Traditionaly their playing fields were The Netherlands and Belgium, but as of now Distilab has also expanded their business to other Western-European countries.

Measuring main particle parameters with very high accuracy and repeatability

Tunable Resistive Pulse Sensing (TRPS) is the most powerful nanoparticle characterisation system available. It is an essential tool for nanoparticle research, development and quality assurance, particularly in fields like nanomedicine and extracellular vesicles. Recent developments mean that TRPS is now rapid and convenient, with a suite of additional tools available to make life easier for the TRPS user. During the hands-on training course, participating visitors can first hand experience the optimalisation of the settings of the TRPS system.

DolomiteDolomite

Dolomite is the world leader in design and manufacture of high quality innovative microfluidic products.

We offer a broad range of modular microfluidic systems, modules and components such as pumps, chips, connectors, temperature controllers, sensors, accessories and software for analysis or automation. We also regularly design and manufacture custom-made components or modules to exactly match a customer’s requirement and perform product design & development for complete instruments.

Formation of Monodisperse Water droplets in Oil

Dolomite-Workshop-Formation of Monodisperse Water droplets in Oil (2)Dolomite will present a complete Droplet system including Pressure Pumps, Flow Sensor, Glass droplet chip, microscope and High speed camera. We will show how easy the system can be set up and we will show a live demo, showing the formation of Monodisperse aqueous droplet in an mineral oil carrier phase. We will show how Droplet chip size and flow rates used can be chosen to adjusted droplet size.

Fluigentfluigent

FLUIGENT was the first company introducing pressure-driven flows for microfluidic applications and is today the global leader. FLUIGENT offers innovative solutions for controlling pressures and flow rates, achieving superior performances (pulsation free, fast response time, stop-flow…).

Droplet generation and manipulation

You will be able to experience the strength of pressure-driven flows for droplet generation, chemical mixing and single object handling. To make it fun, we demonstrate these features in a playful mixing of blue and yellow droplets quickly mixing in green ones.

ScienionScienion

SCIENION is a life science company well positioned in the markets of ultra-low volume liquid handling systems and microarray technologies. SCIENION provides their customers with an integrated product portfolio facilitating and improving multiplex analysis, high throughput screening and high throughput production of microarrays in the genomics and proteomics fields – from early research to manufacturing.

New application of the sciFLEXARRAYER (patent pending)

arrayer_scienionScienion offers hardware, consumables and services. The sciFLEXARRAYERs allow for non-contact and precise drop spotting in the pico- to nano-liter range – as for tests with DNA, oligonucleotides, peptides, proteins, antibodies, glycans or for dispensing cells. Systems and software are characterized by its versatility, precision and robustness. Scienion’s service includes contract array manufacturing and development of tailor-made array applications on customer specific supports.

Tide Microfluidicstidemicrofluidicslogo

Tide Microfluidics’ novel platform technology allows for the creation of monodisperse microbubbles. Our platform shows a robust method for the production of microbubbles of highly controlled size with a narrow size distribution. Our unique platform enables the formation of monodisperse microbubbles with size choice between 2 to 10 microns and a narrow size distribution.

Creating highly uniform microparticles with the MicroSphere Creator

The MicroSphere Creator is a  compact and easy-to-use laboratory scale production system, which allows researchers the freedom to develop the next generation of highly uniform microparticles. Users are able to produce highly uniform microbubbles or microdroplets on demand and in user defined quantities, using their own unique mixtures and formulations. The system uses built-in technology to ensure real-time monitoring and visualisation of the microspheres produced.

During the demo-session participants can use the MicroShere Creator eMicroSphereCreator Tidexperience the possibilities of the instrument. The focus will be on the creation of particle-coated microbubbles in controlled volumes and of a controlled size. So, why not come along and experience how simple the MicroSphere Creator is to use for the creation of next generation targeted drugs in controlled doses.
