The Flow Chemistry Class
The Flow Chemistry Class provides a showcase of flow chemistry technology and equipment for research and up-scaling in pilot plants and full scale production. The target audiences of this workshop are industrial and academic scientists and researchers in both the enabling areas and in the application areas such as life science, pharma, cosmetics, food and chemical industry etcetera.

Bronkhorst Cori-Tech Bronkhorst Cori-Tech specializes in compact Mass Flow Meters and Controllers, based on the Coriolis principle. Coriolis mass flow meters are highly appreciated for their accuracy and independence of fluid properties. These instruments are able to measure and control a flow of 0,05 g/h up to 600 kg/h. They are suitable for numerous applications within industrial, chemical and laboratory environments. Combined with a (gear) pump or (shut-off) valve, compact liquid mass flow dosing systems can be offered as an alternative to gravimetric or volumetric filling and dosing methods. A unique way of flow control demonstrated World’s smallest Coriolis flowmeters /-controllers. Bronkhorst Cori-Tech offers virtually pulse-free gear pumps, membrane pumps and HPLC (piston) pumps, directly coupled and controlled by a Coriolis flowmeter. Bronkhorst Cori-Tech will take care of the electrical and mechanical connection, testing and optimisation including the PID-integrated controller.

In this Hands-on Demo we will show the potential of flow chemistry in synthesis. You will experience the whole setup of equipment ranging from small feasibility systems for route scouting into the automated system for quick optimisation of a chosen route and even the upscaling to semi-pilot scale. Close collaboration with Chemtrix enables us to give you a glimpse of industrial size production and what this could mean for you.
suurDOS® units are compact, standardized dosing units for the processing industry for accurate, pulsation-free dosing of fluids at laboratory, pilot plant and production scale.
Syrris will present an Asia flow chemistry system , including a, Asia flow pump, Reagent Injector, Chip Climate controller to control Microreactor temperature, a Back Pressure Controller and an Automatic collector. We will show how easily the system can be set up and rearranged to accommodate different types of chemistry. We will also show how to run a series of reactions (using dye in water) to perform reaction optimization, varying residence time, stoichiometry, reaction temperature and back pressure either manually or from the Asia PC software.
