“Successful scaleup requires the right company DNA”
Steven Tan, MBA co-founder of Nascent Ventures
Summary: The foundations for a successful scale up is laid in the seed and early stage of the company. Typically high-tech startups are focussed onR&D and products in the early stage and are not concerned about customers and revenue (yet). This creates a company culture that is unfavorable to scaleup. Moreover, this culture is hard to change once it has become part of the DNA of the company. It is essential to build a company with the right DNA right from the start. This presentation will provide useful guidance on how to build a startup with the right DNA.
